PhD positions available in the field of intra-and intercellular transport and communication

The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) funded Graduate School “Intra- and Intracellular Transport and Communication” is located at the Philipps University Marburg and the Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology in Marburg, Germany.

Groups from the Biological and the Medical Faculty of the Philipps University and the Max Planck Institute work as an interdisciplinary consortium to address ‘Intra- and Intercellular Transport and Communication (IITC)’. In particular, research focuses on mechanisms underlying cell-to-cell interactions, establishment of cell polarity and intracellular targeting of proteins and lipids.

For our 3-year PhD program, we are seeking for excellent and highly motivated PhD students interested in the field of the Graduate School. Candidates should hold a master/diploma degree in natural sciences.
